I don't get the headache part, but I did not plagiarize this quote, though I would not be surprised if someone, sometime had expressed the same thought.
The quote was very thought provoking. The headache part was in jest, as in "you made me think" about it and the catch 22 contained within. The subject of hypocrisy is a deep and old one. I should probably have included a wink.
It's quite possible that I may not have even completely grasped the full meaning of the quote either.
As an aside, I think that to demonstrate absurdity with absurdity is an art form. And, the more clever it is, the more artistic it is to me.
I think that hypocrisy is overrated as a vice. For example, a person may set high standards and fail regularly, thus being a regular hypocrite. Another may set low standards and meet them always, thus not being a hypocrite at all. But if you compare the two people, the first may be far more virtuous than the second.
My, my, we have quite a conundrum don’t we? If that is an original quote, then I have you to thank for my headache.
