  1. Not bad. How about this one from an Illinois physician:

The Green Bay Packers may be World Champions, but the Wisconsin Democrats have a better running game!

  5. Humorless Sean - is that the best you can come up with?

Denis, I have a great one - I'll e-mail it to you. It's a little risque and unlike Sean, I maintain some level of decorum. Also, might send Sean over the edge.

  6. Just saw another:

A sign a protester was carrying:

"I blame Favre" Of course being carried by someone (with a sense of humor) at the rally in support of Walker last Saturday.

Pandering to pinheads. Sean, bring more donuts and coffee to the lobby but don't wait - we don't have the patience for dumbasses like your conservative friends do.

  9. Koch Whore not humorous? Perhaps, but it's accurate.

Speaking of road crossing chickens and no bid contracts, I penned a few Why Did The Chicken Hawk Cross the Road? entries back during the bush regime:

    DICK CHENEY
We've seen evidence, but that leaves no doubt that the chicken crossed the road in an effort to act as liaison between Saddam and Al Qaeda.

    AHMAD CHALABI
The Chicken loyally crossed the road bringing out secrets of Saddam's nuclear program and evidence of why immediate US invasion is necessary.

Whitehouse legal council informs us that as Commander-In-Chief the President has no obligation to follow the constitution, federal law or international treaties regarding the treatment of Enemy Chickens, We are weighing the options at our disposal for extracting information as to the chicken's motives.

    HALI (No Bid) BURTON
Road Crossing Activities Invoice June 2004
    One Chicken: $10,000.00 / Day x 30 days = $300,000.00
    Crossing Surcharge: $5000.00 / Event x 300 crossing events = $3,000,000.00
    Per diem: $2000.00 / Day x 30 days = $600,000.00
    Project Management: $1,000,000.00 / Month x 1 = $1,000,000.00
    Hidden Over Charges (shhhhhh): $2,500,000.00
    Cheney Compensation Fund: $1,000,000.00 / Month x 1 = $1,000,000.00

I cannot discuss the whereabouts of the chicken, nor will I release any information to the public about how their government has applied the USA PATRIOT ACT to cases of poultry thoroughfare transgression.

    DONALD RUMSFELT
Did the chicken cross the road to loot the museum? Sure. Will he do it again? Maybe. Is it a good thing? No. Could we have stopped him? Absolutely. Hey, in a free society chickens are free to do bad things.

    TOM DELAY
The Chicken is disgusting and unpatriotic for crossing over, just another example of the Hate-American-Chickens-First-Crowd.

    PAUL RYAN
The chicken was spiriting tons of WMD across the road into Syria.

    ACCENTURE (Formerly Arthur Anderson)
To get to Bermuda for the tax shelter, while still patriotically scratching the American Taxpayer.

    ARIEL SHARON
This will not go unavenged, we are fully justified in bulldozing Chicken family's home and those of the chicken's neighbors.

    TED KENNEDY
The chicken was fleeing ah urban blight and seeking bettarh education for his children, we must have massive federal funding increases to right these inequities so that chickens everywharh ah need not suffer the indignity of crossing the road.

    RIGHTWINGER
Chicken Crossing is a very simple, black and white issue with an obvious solution.

    LEFTY
Chicken Crossing is complicated having many root causes, requiring a multifaceted response predicated on educating the public at large.

Wow, Seany dropped a big one. Denis would have to break that one up with a plunger if he wete going to flush.

Really, they need donuts in Rockford. Maybe you can get one of them to read your posts. I wont but Denis and one or two others are actually entertained by you.

  13. Remind me how name calling (on either side) contributes to the debate?

From my perspective, it appears to galvanize both sides emotional state, and actually builds barriers to rational discourse....

What can't you idiots understand about that? ;)

Galvanize? Hey that'll be enough of that kind of talk around here. Yes Brad, I read your posts too. Just not dips***'s. . .

  15. My apologies Anon, I'll try to mind my tongue and not use that "G" word ;)

Can I use the term "solidify the resolve of" without getting too PG-13?

Thanks for reading, and selfishly, I'm glad I'm not the one you're referring to as "dips***"

Denis has let me pimp my blog on his site, so I hope he doesn't mind me doing so again...

Lately I've been tracking my workouts with P90X (so there are some photos there not for the feint of heart), but feel free to check it out at your leisure and discretion! When I'm not simply updating my workout progress, I'm just speaking what's on my mind... My "Musings" as it were...
