Question of the Day

Is "pragmatist" just a nicer way to describe a person with no convictions?

Yes. By the way I hate that word. It is completely self-serving and when I see it, I can't help thinking of "change for the sake of change". For example, change can be good and ideas can be good, but that doesn't mean all changes or ideas are good.

I thought that was the word "moderate", but "pragmatist" works for me, as does "spineless drone".

"A person with no convictions" - hey, another Obama accolade! Too bad many of Chicago's city employees and politicos have at least one felony. Change does a body good, just like colonic enhancement.
