I am concerned about Newt Gingrich's recent rise in the polls. I don't think he can win in a head to head matchup with President Obama. Oh yah, and he pinched my ass at a Tea Party event last year.

Denis, you're making the assumption that there is no basis for the allegations on Cain. While I might agree there is a double standard in the media on this matter, when 4 women make a claim, further investigation must be made. It's all part of the vetting process. Proven innocent until found guilty is the American way I agree, but if you look at serial womanizers like Bill Clinton, these things must be looked into.
Not so JM. Cain might be a lecherous cad. But vetting that claim is a bit problematic. For starters, the claims can't be talked about because of a legal agreement. And lets just say there are opponents of Cain's in both parties that benefit from his crisis. Cain might just be an awful scumbag. And that is the problem with largely unsubstantiated accusations. They leave doubt in the minds of folks, quite understandably, even if the claims, impossible to disprove, are outright false. The situation reminds me of the trap question, how often do you beat your wife. Difficult to disprove while tainting a reputation. Just how do you get it back?
Regarding Newt, my guess is that Obama's political folks could have proof of Newts involvement in the Penn State scandal and that would be kept under wraps cause they would love to take him on in the general. That is why word must get out now that Newt is a serial ass pincher.
I thought you were joking, you're serious. That's hilarious!
Here's a twist on the trap, How many times do you enter into legal settlements with women you grope?
Or try this one. How often do you catagorically deny that there is an issue and then admit later that same day that you lied fi you had nothing to hide in the first place.
Face it, the only candidate you guys have that has a chance to beat Obama is Mitt and you guys don't like. The rest are a bunch of nutbags or also-rans.
Sean, re the legal agreements, we don't know if there was groping or even alleged groping. But we do know there is political incentive to take out Cain. Not enough info gathered thus far to discredit Cain in my view. But I realize my view is not relevant insofar as political operatives in general know that bogus or inflated claims drive up negative numbers etc... and are therefor very useful, if truth be a casualty so be it.
Sean, I will have to agree that Cain has proven to be a disappointment. But I should clarify my previous statement about Newt the ass pincher. It was truthfully more like a caress.
For whatever reason the political calculation for most of the potential serious contenders in the Repubican party appears to be to keep their powder dry and wait till 2016.
In addition to Mitt there are a couple candidates that might be decent (not my choice, but decent) presidents. But they get no attention amongst the nut grove that is the GOP field this time round.
I love Racine Wisconsin. But I am not naive about the challenges we face. I have chosen the name Free Racine for a reason. For Racine to realize its great potential, we must free ourselves from our own failed policies, from high taxes, failing schools, and self serving politicians.

Well we don't need any legal agreements to silence Herman Cain. Just ask him a foreign policy question, that'll shut him up.
As a CEO he was probably worth his salt, as a presidential candidate however, he's a buffoon.
Well at least he's not an ass pincher, that's just plain freakin wierd. Almost as weird as marrying woman Martian from Mars Attacks!

Caress!? Don't be cheeky!
