I don't get the headache part, but I did not plagiarize this quote, though I would not be surprised if someone, sometime had expressed the same thought.
The quote was very thought provoking. The headache part was in jest, as in "you made me think" about it and the catch 22 contained within. The subject of hypocrisy is a deep and old one. I should probably have included a wink.
It's quite possible that I may not have even completely grasped the full meaning of the quote either.
As an aside, I think that to demonstrate absurdity with absurdity is an art form. And, the more clever it is, the more artistic it is to me.
I think that hypocrisy is overrated as a vice. For example, a person may set high standards and fail regularly, thus being a regular hypocrite. Another may set low standards and meet them always, thus not being a hypocrite at all. But if you compare the two people, the first may be far more virtuous than the second.
I love Racine Wisconsin. But I am not naive about the challenges we face. I have chosen the name Free Racine for a reason. For Racine to realize its great potential, we must free ourselves from our own failed policies, from high taxes, failing schools, and self serving politicians.

My, my, we have quite a conundrum don’t we? If that is an original quote, then I have you to thank for my headache.
