to be retired, means that you once were gainfully employed, and because of this employment you enjoy the perks of still recieving a regular check even when you're no longer working. Major difference, but good try.
Anon 9:44 - and the folks hanging around downtown, etc. are NOT receiving regular checks? I won't even tell you that your comment was a "good try".
so these folks "hanging around downtown" are terrorizing our streets?
anon 9:44, so it isn't joblessness but a lack of savings that causes violence? If so, it's time for me to kick some ass.
